Saturday

Saturday is a special day.
It’s the day we get ready for Sunday:
We clean the house, and we shop at the store,
So we won’t have to work until Monday.

We brush our clothes, and we shine our shoes,
And we call it our get-the-work-done day.
Then we trim our nails, and we shampoo our hair,
So we can be ready for Sunday!

These pictures were taken on Valentines. The girls actually let me curl their hair with curlers and they even left them in all night. They looked so cute on Sunday.

I wanted to do their hair again on Tuesday night, for school the next day, but they wouldn't let me. This might have been the only time they let me do their hair this way.

Unfortunately, Tori doesn't have any hair like her sisters did at this age, so she just got to watch.

Oh! That cute Tori baby is a doll! I put sponge rollers in Aubrey's hair like that once a few years ago. As soon as her head hit the pillow, she said, "Mommy, these curls don't fit my bed," and started yanking them out. Oh well.

Your girls are smart and adorbaly cute! My mom had us whining for years - every Saturday night she'd put those nasty pink rollers in our hair! The worst was we'd have curly hair in the back and stick straight bangs!
